About This Position
FreshTake Grocery is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Smokehouse team as Smokehouse Team Members. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality smoked meats and barbecue dishes, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Team members will engage in smoking meats, maintaining smokehouse equipment, and providing customers with a delicious culinary experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Smoke and prepare a variety of meats for barbecue dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the smokehouse area, including equipment and storage areas
  • Assist customers with their smokehouse orders and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure products are stocked and rotated to maintain freshness
  • Follow food safety procedures and adhere to health regulations

Availability:
This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a smokehouse or food service environment preferred
  • Knowledge of smoking techniques and food safety practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor
