Manages the complete design process or acts as a technical specialist on a focused design.Responsibilities:
- Oversees the overall architectural design of the project, leveraging the firm's full resources.
- Integrates and coordinates all disciplines involved in the building project.
- Adheres to project design schedules and construction budgets.
- Assigns tasks and reviews the work of the project design team, monitoring progress and alerting the Project Manager to any scope changes or additional service needs.
- Coordinates the completion of all project documents both within the company and externally with clients and other design professionals.
- Maintains client contact during the design phase, attends all design meetings, and keeps the project manager or principal-in-charge informed of design developments and any decisions impacting the design schedule or budget.
- Prepares or reviews construction budgets based on project scope and past experience.
- Maintains client communications.
- Oversees the construction bidding process
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Licensed Architect
- Vast experience in all aspects of architectural design
- Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in computer-aided drafting programs.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a client-focused and positive attitude.
