Manages the complete design process or acts as a technical specialist on a focused design.Responsibilities:
  • Oversees the overall architectural design of the project, leveraging the firm's full resources.
  • Integrates and coordinates all disciplines involved in the building project.
  • Adheres to project design schedules and construction budgets.
  • Assigns tasks and reviews the work of the project design team, monitoring progress and alerting the Project Manager to any scope changes or additional service needs.
  • Coordinates the completion of all project documents both within the company and externally with clients and other design professionals.
  • Maintains client contact during the design phase, attends all design meetings, and keeps the project manager or principal-in-charge informed of design developments and any decisions impacting the design schedule or budget.
  • Prepares or reviews construction budgets based on project scope and past experience.
  • Maintains client communications.
  • Oversees the construction bidding process
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Licensed Architect
  • Vast experience in all aspects of architectural design
  • Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in computer-aided drafting programs.
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a client-focused and positive attitude.
