This position requires a desire to work with extremely difficult youth. Children who can be aggressive and/or assaultive. This position requires our staff to use therapeutic physical intervention after training. They are great kids that need strong motivated staff that can redirect problematic behavior.
Activities you may do while working: Play Magic, other card or board games, play video games, watch movies, artwork, create a menu and cook a meal, shopping, attend recreational outings, outdoor activities like hiking going to the park, work on home skills, and so much more.
Free meals while on shift
Lilac Ridge is a new program located in Spokane Valley designed to care for children ages 7 to 12. We need Direct Care staff to help create fun, stable, and predictable environments.
Direct care staff position working with youth in a residential treatment environment.
Hours available are 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. Full time and part time for both shifts. Daytime shifts available for Saturday, Sunday, and non-school days.
We are open 24 hrs. a day 7 days a week in our residential settings.
Office hours are 9am-5pm M-F
Must have:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 21 years of age
- A valid drivers license and car insurance
- 1 year working with children
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Employees will also receive PAID training in CPR/First aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Behavioral Management, Mandatory Reporter Training, and more.
