Scheduler/Resident Care Coordinator - $1500 Sign on Bonus

Full Time | Day Shift

Minimally starting at $23/hour PLUS Shift Differentials for 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift
(pay based on experience)

What will I do as a Scheduler/Resident Care Coordinator?

  • Provide care services such as bathing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, etc. for residents according to the resident's assessment and service plan.
  • Assist residents with housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Accompany residents on outings to medical appointments
  • Assist residents with activities.
  • Recruit, orient and train all new care team members
  • Facilitate communication between shifts and caregivers
  • Manage the scheduling of Care Department
  • Provide assistance with coverage in extreme situations
  • Assign care giving duties to direct caregivers
  • Arrange resident appointments with physicians including transportation, companion, etc. as needed
  • Order needed supplies to care for residents/calls the family when a resident needs something to be brought in
  • Perform room rounds
  • Assist with assuring Wellness Nurses, Medication Assistants and Resident Assistants are knowledgeable of current company and state policies pertinent to their jobs
  • Assist with resident admission, transfer, and discharge as needed
  • Will be part of the MOD rotation

What is required in this position?

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
  • Must have a valid and current LPN license or C.N.A. certificate (applicable college degree accepted)
  • Must have a valid and current Medication Administration Certificate
  • Must complete annual training as required by current regulations
  • Must have valid First Aid and CPR
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Must have computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Point Click Care preferred
  • Must have excellent communications skills
  • Must be flexible and a team worker
