Are you a seasoned mechanic with a wealth of experience in the material handling industry? Do you have  a passion for leading and mentoring others? 

️ WMH is seeking a Senior Mechanic/Technician to join our elite team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of material handling equipment. Your expertise will ensure our clients receive top-notch service and that our equipment operates at peak efficiency. Additionally, your leadership and technical skills will ensure the optimal performance and longevity of our equipment, while providing guidance and mentorship to junior technicians. 
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Diagnostics and Repairs: Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
 ️ Maintenance Excellence: Expertly identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure quick and effective resolutions. Conduct thorough preventive maintenance to guarantee equipment longevity and reliability. 
️‍ Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality workmanship, while sharing your expertise and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. 

Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients about the status and needs of their equipment.
Detailed Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours, ensuring compliance with company standards.

⚠️ Safety Leadership: Promote and adhere to all safety regulations and standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanic/technician in the material handling, automotive, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Skills: Advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a focus on team development.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license required; certifications in forklift maintenance and repair are highly preferred.
