The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and can effectively counsel while building patient rapport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient Care
- Assist in fitting and programming hearing aids for optimal performance, comfort, and sound quality.
- Provide basic patient education on hearing aid use, care, and maintenance.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in scheduling and conducting follow-up appointments, including basic troubleshooting, routine adjustments, and cleanings.
- Make follow-up calls to patients to ensure satisfaction with their assistive listening and hearing device.
Administrative and Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain organized patient records.
- Handle packaging and mailing earmold orders, device repairs, and manufacturer/lab returns.
- Maintain inventories of supplies
- Maintain inventories of loaner devices
Support for Audiologists:
- Communicate with audiologists concerning updates on orders, insurance verifications, or prior authorizations.
- Assist the audiologists in the completion of clinical appointments as needed.
General Duties:
- Perform infection control duties within the clinic/service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and skills:
- Team player

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Cheerful attitude
- Knowledge of electronic medical record system and word processing software
- Familiarity with billing and coding

Requirements
- Active NY Hearing Aid Dispensing License
