Job DescriptionJob Description

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Maintains good working knowledge of all products per manufacturer's recommendations as wells as knowledge of proper application processes.

Performs pre-trip inspections on designated vehicles and equipment.

Follows schedules for the day and week in the application process.

Prepares surfaces for the application of products, including but not limited to, manual cleaning of project items with appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions or other products.

Ensures completion of project by specified deadlines or notifies supervisor of problems that may impact established schedules.

Maintains a daily diary of projects and conversations with owner/customers.

Maintains reliable attendance in order to support a small crew.

Establishes and maintains excellent customer relations.

Projects professionalism when executing assignments.

Performs other duties as assigned.

May be required to lift varying weight based on assigned duties/tasks.

Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies; ensures jobsite safety.

Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.


PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to use small hand tools, climb ladders.

Knowledge of basic welding skills preferred.

Able to follow instructions, work independently or with a crew.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Be able to pass a background check for security clearances to military facilities.

Conducts oneself in a professional and courteous manner towards the customer and public.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary.

Ability to safely tow equipment and reverse towed equipment.

Familiarity with island locations and streets.

Education High school graduate.

Experience 1 year labor experience in construction. Spray painting, seal coating, road striping, or sandblasting experience helpful. Ability to operate a forklift.

Math Good math skills to perform calculations for product mixes and other tasks, as required

Communications Good reading skills to comprehend product and job requirements, writing to maintain clear and thorough daily records. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, agencies, and owners.

Licenses Valid Hawaii driver's license and favorable traffic abstract.

Other Ability to obtain at least one relevant certification within one year. Organized to ensure completion of tasks in a timely manner. Ability to attain good working knowledge of all products used.
