Job DescriptionJoin the team as an Assembly Operator and be a key player in driving production goals and upholding our high standards. You'll work with a top designer and manufacturer of fiber optic networking products that power the expanding markets of cable TV broadband, fiber-to-the-home, and internet data centers. In this role, you’ll complete work orders, operate manufacturing equipment, and assist in small parts assembly processes.Responsibilities:
  • Assemble optical, electronic, and mechanical parts per instructions and drawings.
  • Set up, run, and monitor assembly machinery for precise tasks.
  • Check assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Handle soldering and intricate tasks for complex assemblies.
  • Record data and report issues in the system.
  • Fix minor assembly or equipment issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines, including PPE and material handling.
  • Suggest enhancements and reduce waste.
  • Work with the team to achieve assembly tasks and production goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience as an Assembly Process Operator within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in using microscopes, hand tools, computers and tweezers
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
