Celerity is partnering with our client in the Waunakee area sourcing a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team where your skills and dedication will directly contribute to our success.


This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing, warehouse, and facility equipment.

The ideal candidate will be adept at troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance to maximize equipment efficiency and effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities

- Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment, including conveyors, saws, and assembly automation equipment

- Troubleshoot and replace control devices such as photo eyes, switches, contacts, proximity sensors, push buttons, and motor starters.

- Operate and set up shop equipment including welders, lathes, mills, and grinders

- Execute repair and preventative maintenance work orders, adjustments, and inspections via the Computer Maintenance Management System

- Monitor product quality and assist with machine and line changeovers

- Maintain and repair facility equipment, including HVAC systems, overhead doors, plumbing, and carpentry

- Support the distribution center by maintaining conveyors, performing minor fork truck repairs, and handling other material handling equipment.

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license and ability to commute between Waunakee and Madison facilities.

- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
