Job DescriptionJob DescriptionApplied Innovation seeks a detail-oriented, self-motivated Application Developer on a 6-month Contract. Our Technology division is focused on providing excellent customer service in the managed IT field. This position will enhance and maintain our foundational applications, ensuring seamless functionality and efficiency.
This is a Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM position located in Grand Rapids, MI office.
Address: 5555 Glenwood Hills Pkwy SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512.

Responsibilities: As an Application Developer on a 6-month contract, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize the following four applications in our tool stack:
  • PIA Automation:
    • Configure and fine-tune the PIA automation system.
    • Ensure it is ready for rollout to all Fully Managed Clients.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement necessary changes.
  • LionGard:
    • Review the existing LionGard application.
    • Configure and customize it to meet specific client needs.
    • Deploy LionGard to all contractual clients.
    • Troubleshoot any issues and provide ongoing support.
  • MSPBots Dashboards:
    • Develop dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs) across all clients.
    • Incorporate multiple criteria to provide comprehensive insights.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Thread (AI Chat Solution):
    • Configure and implement our new AI Chat solution (Thread).
    • Collaborate with the development team to set specifications.
    • Roll out Thread to all Fully Managed Clients.
    • Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the chatbot’s capabilities.

Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
  • Strong understanding of operating systems and platforms.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
