The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our Microsoft-based IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers, Active Directory, Azure services, and Microsoft 365, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any other issues that arise. This role demands a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies and cloud solutions and the ability to analyze and diagnose issues quickly and accurately. This role will be a hybrid role based out of our Harrisburg, PA office.

IT Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft 365, Windows servers, Azure services, and Active Directory.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Azure environments to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
  • Configure and maintain business software.
  • Collaborate with the mySiteIQ software product team to support and optimize platform infrastructure.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
  • Assist with the maintenance and security of Cisco Meraki network and security infrastructure.
  • Prepare software and hardware documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to ensure proper functionality of business systems.
  • Act as an escalation point of contact regarding information technology service operations.

IT Systems Engineer Qualifications:

  • AA in Computer Networks or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
  • 5+ years of experience with Windows devices.
  • 3+ years of experience in Networking and Security Administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft solutions with at least two of:
    • SharePoint/OneDrive
    • Project Online
    • Teams
    • Power BI
    • Power Automate
    • Co-Pilot
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

IT Systems Engineer Preferred Skills

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or similar certifications.
  • Experience with VMWare Workspace One, Entra ID, and other enterprise management tools.
  • Experience in PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server administration and optimization
