Project Engineer Intern

We are seeking a Project Engineer Intern to join our Team Our goal for this internship is to provide hands on experience to the right candidate in the construction field and expose them to the tools and programs that would lead them to success in the industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attend project overview every other Monday.
- If assigned to a project, keep track of quantities used and installed daily.
- Be on job sites to get familiar with construction activities.
- Schedule subcontractors to start their work.
- Schedule and communicate with suppliers to know when the products are shipped.
- Studying the specifications and special provisions to understand the scope of the project, and any special condition.
- Using Blue Beam Revu, getting the quantities of the materials and products used in the project as exact as possible.
- Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers and ask for their price proposals if interested.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- The ideal candidate would be currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while working under time constraints.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Compensation Range: The wage range includes the minimum, midpoint, and maximum base salary values. A candidate's offer can vary depending on differentiating factors, including but not limited to education, training, or experience.
- $20-25.00 Hourly DOE
- While performing Project Engineer Intern duties, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The employee must frequently use fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position
- Project Engineer Intern typically operate in an office environment. At times you may work from a job trailer on the construction site.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
- The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
