Job Description: The Filtration Sales Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and increasing company profits by developing new customer relationships while nurturing existing ones. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role involves promoting products, establishing key trade relationships, providing technical support, and delivering training to both new and repeat customers.

Education: Completion of a 2 or 4-year degree program, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Experience: Preferred experience and demonstrated success in sales within the healthcare and/or specialized industrial business sectors. Background in Engineering sales is advantageous but not mandatory. Filtration sales experience is highly advantageous. Preferred understanding of HVAC principles, although not obligatory.

Pay: Base + Commission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers, understanding their product needs.
  • Identify and locate new customers through networking and cold calls.
  • Prepare and conduct sales presentations to new and existing customers.
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products.
  • Increase business and account base through effective sales techniques.
  • Maintain and improve customer relationships and satisfaction.
  • Assist and answer inquiries from customers regarding products and industry knowledge.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competition, and best sales practices.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure profitability.
  • Prepare and present quotes.
  • Communicate changes in demand to the purchasing department.
  • Stay current with industry regulations and preferences.
  • Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance knowledge and skills.
