Opportunity:

As a Data Analyst professional, you will collect, process, and perform statistical analyses of data to support decision-making and help the organization achieve its objectives. The role of a Data Analyst involves extracting actionable insights from raw data, creating meaningful visualizations, and communicating findings to various stakeholders within the organization.

This position is permanent, W2 position and will consist of a hybrid schedule. The Data Analyst must be within 2 hours of Woodlawn, MD.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Processing:
    • Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
    • Clean, transform, and preprocess raw data to prepare it for analysis.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation:
    • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within the dataset.
    • Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to derive meaningful insights and predictions.
    • Identify correlations, causations, and relationships between different data points.
    • Build predictive models and conduct forecasting using statistical methods or machine learning algorithms.
    • Evaluate model performance and refine models based on feedback and changing requirements.
  • Report Generation and Visualization:
    • Develop and maintain SharePoint dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate data findings to stakeholders.
    • Present data insights in a clear, understandable manner using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and align data analysis efforts accordingly.
    • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuous Learning and Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis and related domains.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data analysis processes and methodologies.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Expertise in predictive analytics.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, or similar.
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior SSA experience.
  • Experience with big data.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Active Public Trust or higher
