Position of Summary:

This role is more than a LINE COOK. It is the opportunity to act as a brand ambassador to bridge cultures through food. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education, quality customer service, and a positive experience at a restaurant We are counting on YOU to be an extension of our brand.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a team player and work together with your team to foster a healthy and warm atmosphere

  • Cook all wok tossed menu items in accordance standards set by the Executive Chef

  • Prepare cooking ingredients and portions prior to service

  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period

  • Stores away delivered goods in appropriate location following storing guidelines

  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area

  • Work closely and communicate clearly with other kitchen members

  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Fill in for absent staff as needed.

  • Comply with health and safety codes


Qualifications:

  • Team player and positive attitude

  • Positive interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with a multicultural and diverse team

  • Able to acquire a California Food Handlers and Sexual Harassment Licenses

  • Wok experience is a plus

  • Bilingual is a plus

  • Line Cook experience is a plus
