Your Opportunity: Gertsburg Licata is in search of a Contract Attorney with a distinctive entrepreneurial spirit and expertise in corporate transactions. Your Role and Contribution: As part of our innovative legal team, you will be entrusted with significant responsibilities that directly impact our success and expansion. This position is designed for an attorney who is driven to excel in their field and is keen on building and managing their own portfolio of cases and transactions. Your ability to generate and handle business will not only advance your career but also significantly contribute to our firm's goals and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, business formations, and corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
  • Serve as a key legal advisor to the company, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to facilitate the company's growth and protect its interests.

Requirements:

  • Active bar license. (Ohio preferable)
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate transactional law.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong inclination towards self-driven success and a high degree of professional autonomy.
  • Strong expertise in managing a diverse range of corporate legal matters.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, forward-thinking approach, capable of delivering results and driving initiatives.
