POSITION: Program Facilitator

FLSA: Part-Time/ Non-Exempt

Reports To: Senior Vice President of Diversity Inclusion and Global Engagement

We are looking for individuals to lead and support in the following areas:

  • New Moms Care Program: Provide guidance, support, and a sense of community for new mothers as they navigate the challenges and joys of parenthood.
  • Healthy Relationships (Marriage/Siblings/Dating): Facilitate discussions and activities that promote healthy, positive relationships among couples, siblings, and those dating, fostering stronger, more connected communities.
  • Divorce Care Program: Offer emotional support and practical advice to individuals going through the challenges of divorce, helping them find strength and hope for the future.
  • Financial Literacy Program: Share your knowledge of budgeting, saving, and financial planning to empower individuals and families to achieve financial stability and success.
  • Smoking Cessation Program: Lead sessions aimed at helping individuals quit smoking, providing them with the tools, motivation, and support they need to lead healthier lives.
  • Teen Support Group: Engage with teens in a safe, supportive environment where they can discuss mental health, build resilience, and develop coping strategies for life's challenges.
  • Dare to be a Better Man: Inspire men to strive for personal growth, leadership, and responsibility, encouraging them to make positive changes in their lives and communities.
  • Dementia Support Group: Provide a compassionate space for individuals and families affected by dementia, offering support, resources, and a community of understanding.
  • Grief Support Group: Facilitate conversations around grief and loss, helping individuals navigate their emotions and find comfort in shared experiences.

Requirements:

  • Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and provide a listening ear to those in need.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate, facilitate discussions, and lead groups.
  • Commitment to Community: A passion for strengthening communities and helping individuals thrive.
  • Personal Experience (optional): If applicable, the ability to share your own experiences related to the program area you're interested in leading.
