Our goal is to provide the best possible care for our residents and instill a sense of confidence within the community. When a loved one comes to our skilled nursing facility, they will be well cared for, will feel heard, and will know that they matter. We strongly believe that the key to this is through our incredible staff

What you will do:

  • Responsible for medical records through preparation, compilation, analysis, maintenance and filing.
  • Maintains a well-organized system of closed and open medical records so that records are available to interdisciplinary personnel as needed and other authorized activities.
  • Assists the center in upholding the confidentiality of medical records and protecting the resident's privacy rights
  • Assigns ICD-9-CM codes to conditions upon admission, during the stay and at discharge
  • Orders office equipment, forms, etc. as directed by Executive Director
  • Assists nursing in general secretarial and clerical duties
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the DNS

Must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a LTC setting PREFERRED
  • Working knowledge of Medical Terminology REQUIRED
  • Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English

Compensation for roles at Spokane Falls Care varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by state and local law, Spokane Falls Care provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Spokane Falls Care expects to pay for roles they may be hired in Washington, as stated below:
