As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized medical records, ensuring confidentiality and protecting resident privacy rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, compile, analyze, maintain, and file medical records
  • Develop and implement a well-organized system for closed and open medical records
  • Assist in upholding confidentiality and protecting resident privacy rights
  • Assign ICD-9-CM codes to conditions upon admission, during the stay, and at discharge
  • Order office equipment and supplies as directed by the Executive Director
  • Provide general secretarial and clerical support to the nursing team

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Medical Terminology is required
  • Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English

As required by state and local law, Spokane Falls Care provides a reasonable pay scale, including the hourly or salary range that Spokane Falls Care expects to pay for roles they may be hired in Washington, as stated below:
