Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments of patients with acute and chronic wounds, including comprehensive history taking and physical examination.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for wound management, including debridement, dressing changes, and advanced wound therapies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and lifestyle adjustments to promote healing and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and evaluate wound healing progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests related to wound care and management.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in wound care and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Master’s degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Certification in Wound Care (e.g., CWCN, CWS) preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
- Preferred experience in wound care or a related field, New Grads are also welcome to apply.
- Strong clinical skills in wound assessment and management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient education and support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant medical software.
- Competitive salary $175k - $190k/Yr DOE
- Fulltime, , M-F 6-7/hr total (3-4/hrs is patient care, then go home for last 2-3/hrs and do charting) Every other Saturday ( Will be compensated extra on Sat.)
