Job Description: Pest Control Technician Specialist - Entry Level


Location: SafeHaven Pest Control, Garland, TX, servicing the DFW Metroplex 

Pay: $18 - $22 per hour (with opportunities for growth & pay increases)

Position: Part Time - Full Time

Schedule


• Hours of operation are Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Some Overtime and Saturdays may be required

• 30-40 Hours Per Week On Average; 

• Wednesday Morning Meeting starts at 6:45 AM


Responsibilities


• Perform applications according to company standards and safety guidelines
• Prepare and mix pest control chemicals based off of label instructions
• Operate and maintain equipment
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing information and answering questions pest and/or wildlife
• Maintain accurate records of services performed via mobile app
• Follow all company policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure safe and effective practices
• Perform other duties as assigned as a part of the development into a full-time, licensed Technician

• Flexibility during the Christmas holiday to assist our Christmas Light Team 


Qualifications


• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

• 3+ years of general work experience; pest control experience is a plus but not required

• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs for periods of time

• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods

• Outdoor work experience required during the summer, with average heat of 100 degrees

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
