GMCO corporation is now hiring for a seasonal Full-time Scale House Operator and yard laborer at our Denver facility. This position will be operating the scale house and processing the scale house paperwork as well as assisting in the yard with bagging and unloading railcars as well as any other functions that are needed to get the job done. GMCO Corporation offers competitive wages, health insurance, and paid time off. This is a full-time seasonal position that is Monday-Friday starting in August and going through March 31st.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Operating Scale House
  • Weighing trucks in/out of the facility using our truck scale
  • Scanning and filing scale house paperwork
  • Organizing stock and maintaining inventory
  • Updating inventory spreadsheets
  • Preparing shipping labels and documents as needed
  • Assisting other team members as needed
  • Ordering fuel
  • Other administrative, customer service, and warehouse duties as needed
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
Requirements:

  • Proficient and accurate on computer
  • Experience with Microsoft and Excel
  • Previous scale house experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Unload railcars
  • Work in bagging area lifting 50lb bags
  • Operating forklift/equipment with training provided
  • Positive Attitude and a Team Player
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good attendance history
  • Packaging, labeling and quality checks
