 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Keeps new and used vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the Detail Supervisor and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  • Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows, etc. As needed.
  • Manage the cycle time of a vehicle from acquisition / arrival to completion.
  • Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.
  • Always maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
  • Keeps work area neat and clean.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
  • Review current priorities with managers
  • Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Strive for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all departments.
  • Maintain awareness of safety and follow workplace safety requirements.

Job Qualifications: 

  • Ability to speak and listen effectively one on one.

  • Basic computer skills. 

  • Good organizational skills. 

  • Valid driver’s license. 

 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent. 

  • Automotive detail experience 1-2 years. 

  • Buffing specialization is a plus.
