• Manage Accounts Receivables, including reviewing daily labor, material, equipment, and
transportation logs for the purposes of auditing client time and material invoices for accuracy.
• Manage Accounts Payables, including ensuring vendor and subcontractor bills are accurate and
contain all supporting documentation before payment.
• Maintain up-to-date log of vendor and subcontractor insurance certificates and ensure the
accurate calculation of monthly vendor and subcontractor W9s and payment applications.
• Review Lien Releases and verify prior lien releases, insurance, and W-9s prior to payment.
• Adjust entries in the General Ledger, reconcile job costs to projects, and produce reconciliation
to the Subsidiary Ledgers.
• Generate reports such as worker’s compensation, sales tax reports, and quarterly tax reports for
941 and reemployment.
• Review preliminary balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to ensure
accuracy by verifying the proper accounting of all transactions.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Manage compliance with local, state, and federal government tax and licensing requirements
and filings.
• Meticulously and accurately prepares Payroll, AR, and AP accounting reports for presentation
to the owners and company executives.
Qualifications:
• A CPA Required, MBA Preferred
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction accounting primarily in the commercial
repair, restoration, and remodeling sector.
• Strong analytical and audit skills applied in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Sage 50 software, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
Compensation: The company provides a competitive salary commensurate with the experience
required for the position plus an annual bonus based on individual and company
