Position Summary:

In-House MRI Engineer will execute all required service reports, including magnet maintenance; inspection of MRI Equipment, washing of parts, documentation of all MRI systems located in the warehouse, packing and preparing the MRI for delivery. Support the company Mission by assisting with the staging and tearing down of MRI systems and provide technical and logistics support to the entire organization. Additionally, provide on-site and remote service support to customers and equipment assigned and as necessary.


Essential Duties:

  • Inspect, wash, package and document MRI system components
  • Assist in magnet maintenance
  • General cleaning of equipment refurb areas
  • Perform inventory of MRI systems prior to shipment
  • Prepare MRI systems for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling
  • Assist with the maintenance of the chillers and other necessary items
  • Assist with mechanical and electrical portions of MRI systems staging
  • Assist with system installs, moves and technical/on-site support as necessary
  • Support companywide initiatives, including Quality Management System maintenance

Education/Experience:

Required:

  • Must have a background in servicing MRI Equipment
  • Employee must be willing to be on call, this includes weekends and holidays

Preferred:

  • An Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or military-training in electronics, equivalent certified electronical training or equivalent experience on electronic equipment

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
