The role involves supporting all manufacturing maintenance activities within the facility. The primary responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment in accordance with safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, ensuring zero safety violations. Participate in safety activities such as talks, observations, and audits.
  • Set up and operate electronic instrumentation and electromechanical or electrohydraulic apparatus for testing mechanical, structural, or electrical equipment. Select, install, and calibrate instrumentation and circuitry.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operations. Maintain an accurate electronic parts inventory system.
  • Operate with a flexible work schedule, including off-shift and on-call situations.
  • Maintain accurate records and analyze data. Analyze operating processes to maximize efficiency and support efficient machine operations.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues within the process or facility. Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications

To successfully perform this job, the individual must meet the following requirements:

  • Proficiency in math and communication skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Capability to work proactively and support other personnel and departments. Effective communication with coworkers and management. Ability to multitask and maintain good attendance habits.
Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-9 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Advanced knowledge of working with control and 480-volt electrical circuits. Proficient knowledge of hydraulic pneumatic systems and preventive maintenance practices. Welding and fabrication experience.

Salary info:

$40 - $45 / hr
