Job DescriptionJob Description- The job is for a Senior Buyer position, under the authority of the Procurement Manager.
- The role involves supporting various ministries with supply and equipment orders needed for patient care, facility maintenance, and administrative duties.
- The Senior Buyer will research and resolve problematic purchase orders, and provide details on substitute products when necessary.
- The job includes maintaining daily reports and participating in process improvement opportunities.
- The Senior Buyer will be expected to meet the expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- The job involves creating and communicating end-of-day productivity reports to Managers.
- The Senior Buyer will be responsible for processing purchase requests for an assigned region.
- The job includes processing special type POs according to the organization's policies and standardization processes.
- The Senior Buyer will manage STAT related requests and ensure overnight delivery.
- The role involves managing extended delivery delays by second sourcing, engaging with vendor representatives for substitutes, and obtaining facility approval before processing substitutes.
- The Senior Buyer will be expected to work from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday, for a contract duration of 8 weeks.
- Orientation will be billable at 70% of the bill rate for the first 36 hours.
