A Public Relations Assistant at Brand Avenue is responsible for supporting the PR team in managing the company’s public image and maintaining relationships with media and clients. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a passion for communications and a desire to learn and grow in the field of public relations.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns and strategies.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile media reports.
  • Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, press conferences, and other media events.
  • Assist in managing the company’s social media accounts and online presence.
  • Support the PR team with administrative tasks and project coordination.
  • Conduct research and gather information for PR initiatives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous internship or experience in PR is a plus but not required.
