Join the fast-paced and dynamic team at ViaSun Corporation as our Construction Payroll Administrator. As a Construction Payroll Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our construction projects.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculation of hours worked, and deducting taxes and other withholdings.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Processing new hires, terminations, and employee changes in Vista by Viewpoint payroll system.
  • Addressing payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees.
  • Preparing payroll reports, including gross wages, tax deductions, and contributions.
  • Collaborating with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely reporting of employee data.
  • Working closely with the finance department to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
  • Participating in payroll audits and implementing internal control procedures.

To excel in this position, you should have previous experience in payroll administration, preferably within the construction industry. You should have a strong understanding of payroll regulations and be detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in payroll administration, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, Vista Viewpoint preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPP certification is preferred.
