About the Reefer Trailer Mechanic Role
  • Day shift only, with occasional weekends for emergencies
  • Perform preventative maintenance and heavy-duty repairs on tractor-trailer refrigeration units
  • Diagnose and repair refrigeration units for efficient and safe operation
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and components such as door seals, mud flaps, and hardware
  • Conduct routine telematics repairs, minor bodywork, and inspections for missing or loose parts
  • Work from a service truck outdoors, performing inspections and repairs with powered industrial equipment as needed
  • Utilize our computer system to create, track, and complete work orders, ensuring thorough documentation of all repairs
What We're Looking for in a Reefer Trailer Mechanic
  • Previous reefer mechanic experience required
  • Ability to diagnose and repair units based on alarm codes
