The ideal candidate is passionate about data, possesses strong analytical skills, and is
proficient in leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large
datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and algorithms to solve business
problems, such as recommendation systems, demand forecasting, and customer
segmentation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, formulate
hypotheses, and develop data-driven strategies.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data pipelines for processing,
transforming, and analyzing data at scale.
- Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms using Python and
TensorFlow, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Leverage cloud-based platforms such as Google BigQuery, DataFlow, and
DataProc for data warehousing, real-time data processing, and batch processing.
- Utilize visualization tools like Looker to create insightful dashboards and reports
for stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Manage and optimize relational databases like PostgreSQL and Snowflake for
storing and querying structured data.
- Implement messaging systems like Pub/Sub to enable real-time data streaming
and event-driven architectures.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data for
analysis and reporting.
- Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream
processing
- Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
- Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
- Generate actionable insights for business improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a
related field.
- 6+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and scripting.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms, with
hands-on experience in TensorFlow preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform
(GCP) and familiarity with technologies like BigQuery, DataFlow, and DataProc.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and cloud-based
data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like Pub/Sub for real-time data streaming.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate
business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively
