Role Overview:
As an Event Cook, you'll craft high-quality dishes in line with our distinguished standards. Your role is crucial in maintaining our reputation by ensuring delicious, beautifully presented food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food following specific recipes and instructions.
- Assist in various stages of event food preparation.
- Manage food quality, from ingredient prep to final presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Proven culinary expertise, including knowledge of international cuisines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in knife handling and kitchen equipment.
- High professionalism and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks (lifting 20-50 lbs).
- Fast-paced and noisy.
- Exposure to various temperatures and conditions.
- Handling of cleaning agents.
- Valid Food Handler’s Card (California Health Department).
- Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
- At least 1 year of kitchen experience.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
