Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and program comprehensive CNC solutions based on engineering technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency and optimize machine performance.
  • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve programming errors during the production process.
  • Conduct simulations and tests of new programs and configurations to prevent errors and ensure alignment with compliance standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all programming codes and changes for future reference and compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in CNC programming, including extensive use of CAD/CAM software.
  • In-depth knowledge of machine shop practices, metal properties, and machining processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in technical drawing and planning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and machinists to translate technical instructions into practical CNC programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced certification in programming software such as Mastercam, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in lead-based product manufacturing or similar industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve machining processes through innovative programming techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex processes in an understandable manner.
  • Proactive in adopting new technologies and software to stay ahead in the field.
