Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAre you a skilled maintenance technician with an interest in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment? Our client in Branford, CT is hiring a Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team and help keep their operation running smoothly.

Details:

Salary: $32-$38/hr.

Shift: Weekdays, 12pm - 8:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance for optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct various welding activities, including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.
  • Perform boiler chemical testing and adjust as necessary.
  • Resolve safety concerns promptly and maintain clean work areas.
  • Manage inventory, maintain records, and oversee work by service companies.
  • Respond to emergency alarms and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial equipment repair.
  • Ability to read blueprints and maintenance literature.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of boiler operations and HVAC experience.
  • Proficiency in welding activities.
