Partner Manager

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Norfolk, VA. This role will report to the Director of Sales and serve as a YD B2B evangelist to drive business growth through partner channels. We’re looking for a confident, outspoken individual who enjoys storytelling.

Yellow Dog works closely with 50+ partners already, and many of these partners have hundreds, if not thousands, of sales reps who we want to be educated about how Yellow Dog Inventory software can help them and their customers. This person will also have focus on strategizing and growing revenue with these existing partnerships.

Tasks and goals for this role will include:

  • Daily phone calling and emailing to existing partners
  • Building personal relationships to strengthen existing partnerships
  • Developing strategies to engage new partners and their customers
  • Maintaining our CRM partner database

This role will have a base salary and be incentivized through an annual bonus plan to move the sales team needle by driving partner sales numbers. Bonus plan TBD.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage and build on existing partner relationships
  • Identify, develop, and negotiate needs with existing and new partners
  • Take ownership of partnership reporting and performance
  • Overseeing partner performance and alignment with YD goals
  • Collaborate with sales, product, marketing, and development teams to develop partner strategies
  • Remain educated on new features and functions
