We are looking to hire a dedicated Painter to join our team.

Your day to day will consist of:

  • Working with different types of paints, including: epoxy, zinc chromate, enamel, water base and lacquer.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator mask when working with paints, solvents or preparing surfaces.
  • Observing all specific safety requirements as explained and required when painting and cleaning.
  • Must be trainable to paint aircraft components per OEM standards.
  • Must be able to clean/paint aircraft components per CMM instructions.
  • Performing cleaning of the paint shop area as required.
  • Keeping records of maintenance on cleaning and painting equipment.
  • Ability to report chemical spills and help contain with provided spill kit.
  • Operating and maintaining blasting media cabinets (glass or plastic) to remove corrosion or re-surface from aircraft parts (training will be provided).
  • Operating solvent parts cleaner to clean/degrease aircraft parts (training will be provided).
  • Checking chemical and shelf-life products dates and advise when to re-order products, maintain cleaning machines and replace contaminated or old chemicals.
  • Other duties as assigned by shop manager.

Your background matches the role:

  • Work with air compressed paint guns.
  • Work with solvents/lacquer thinners.
  • Must be able to get respirator certification.
  • Computer data entry.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, with safety equipment i.e. safety belt, etc.
  • Able to follow FAA approved documentation such as CMM, EO’s, S/B’s.etc
