KalVista has an R&D team with an established track record in the pharmaceutical development of small molecule protease inhibitors, world-leading expertise in the role of plasma kallikrein in disease, and a management team with the capability to bring small molecules through the clinic to commercialization. Listed on the Nasdaq Global Market, our headquarters is located in Cambridge, MA with additional offices and laboratories in Salisbury, U.K.; Zug, Switzerland; Tokyo, Japan and Salt Lake City, UT.

We are searching for an experienced Senior Manager Supply Chain Inventory & Systems to support Inventory Management for NPIs and Commercial Supply across our global network of CMOs and 3PLs. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage inventory and ERP system planning within KalVista Supply Chain for multiple regions pre and post launch. Reporting directly to the Director Supply Planning & Network Strategy, you will drive and support an inventory process along with KPIs and metrics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage inventory including expiry (API, DP & FG) at all CDMO and 3PL locations to ensure consistency and availability of supply
  • Transition from manual process to system tracking and reconciling. Collaborate with our Logistics and External Manufacturing as required to track inventory movements and on hand
  • Lead the implementation of an ERP system. Partner with cross functional teams to transition processes from manual to system based
  • Maintain planning tool updating inventory and demand as needed to ensure supply plans are current including shelf life / expiry planning
  • Partner with Director Supply Planning in generating both manual and system-based scenario plans
  • Develop and / or maintain balanced scorecard measures and targets for Supply Chain (On Time In Full (OTIL), cycle-time, inventory, cost of goods, complaints, right first time etc.) through benchmarking, and internal performance. Select and maintain optimal system for metrics / KPI tracking and publishing
  • Assist in Clinical and EAP supply planning as needed
  • Proactively identify supply chain risks. Create and implement mitigation plans for KalVista’s commercial and clinical supply and NPIs

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management or life science field with knowledge and experience of industry standard Supply Chain management techniques such as Value Stream Planning, S&OP, scenario planning, Inventory and Capacity management
  • Experience leading, implementing and transitioning from manual to ERP based systems
  • Experience in rapid and informed decision making through clear presentation of proposals that balance compliance, customer and cost
  • Experience in executing product serialization processes for multiple product lines
  • Ability to deal with complexities involving Commercial, CMC, R&D and GSC activities
  • End-to-End Supply Chain planning and inventory management experience
  • Regulatory processes including timelines and constraints
  • Ability to form strong relationships with teams across the company to ensure the best outcomes for KalVista
  • Proficient in Tableau or similar analytics software
  • Able to manage complex projects & deliver to a high standard
  • Work in accordance with KalVista’s SOPs and Policies
  • Ability to focus on complex problems and provide multiple solutions
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Hybrid Role (2-3 days per week in office)
