The significance of the work:
To ensure that the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Equity and Inclusion (EI) plan complements and supports the current DEIA plan by ensuring that they are consistent.
The Work Location: Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060. 2 days in-office for a collaborative office culture.
What You'll Do:
The DEIA HR Expert will provide DEIA subject matter expertise, advisory, and consulting support; program management; program and process documentation; training development and support; and data analysis and reporting services in support of the agency-wide D&I Training Program. The DEIA HR Expert will assist in the development of a holistic D&I Training program that will support customer’s goal of creating a culture that fosters creativity that will benefit the Agency workplace. The SME will register, track, and manage all contract requirements and to ensure a smooth transition/contract start up, staffing, deliverables, and quality management.
What we are looking for:
An experienced strategist and influencer that can provide recommendations to the government regarding operational issues that are timely and effective so that they can match the priorities, requirements, schedules, and specialized needs of the D&I Training program in order to meet the technical and operational requirements.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Coordinate with the Equity and Inclusion (EI) Office federal government staff and, as needed, the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Council.
- Communicate consistently and regularly with the COR and government PM and submit all contract deliverables accurately and on time.
- Manage and control efficient operations to ensure high levels of internal consistency, responsiveness, technical proficiency, risk mitigation, and timeliness of deliverables.
- Assess existing Human Capital products (policies, programs, and procedures), processes, and agency workforce data to identify diversity gaps and provide recommended revisions incorporating D&I initiatives, in coordination with HR, EI and D&I Council.
- Collect DEIA- and human capital-related data and metrics (DTRA demographics, training needs, forecasting, Management Directive 715 Barriers (EEOC), and leadership development) and conduct/present detailed analyses in briefing and report formats.
- Provide DEIA subject matter expertise, consulting, and advisory support for customer’s existing Talent Development Programs.
- Support HR Training Needs Assessment to determine workforce DEIA training needs and identify Agency Group Training to close workforce gaps.
- Deliver customer satisfaction with consistent high-quality and punctuality.
- Communicate clearly, partner effectively, and report accurately.
- Respond quickly to a broad range of requests and coordinate resources across tasks where necessary and appropriate.
- 5 years as a DEIA SME
- Clearly demonstrate qualification/certification in DEIA topics
- DEIA certifications and proven qualifications
Security Clearance Requirements:
- This position requires you to have an active Secret Clearance. A government background investigation will be conducted on selected applicants to determine whether they qualify for access to classified information.
Compensation:
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration: contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of ODRG's total compensation package for employees. It is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee. The pay band for this position is $100 - 150k.
