Dalfen Industrial is looking for an Associate to join its Northeast investment's team based in Philadelphia. The Associate will be responsible for underwriting real estate investments across the Northeast and will report to the regional Market Officer.

Position Responsibilities

  • Underwrite potential investment opportunities and gathering and assessing critical information related to the sourcing and evaluation of potential acquisitions.
  • Support the due diligence process for assets under contract, including coordinating with external suppliers such as brokers, engineers, and contractors to support the due diligence process.
  • Compile and present property and market specific reports to management.
  • Create and edit Argus files.
  • Create sale and lease comparable tables.
  • Run DCF models.
  • Assist in identifying target properties that meet the firm's specified acquisition criteria.

Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree from a top tier accredited institution.
  • 1-3 years of work experience (highly qualified undergraduates will be considered).
  • Strong desire to work in real estate finance.
  • Highly motivated with strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a demanding work environment.
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Real estate specific coursework or work experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Argus, Costar and Real Capital Analytics preferred.
