Automotive Parts Specialist – Mi Gente Auto
We need a reliable, professional parts counterperson to purchase, sell, store and issue parts within our busy dealership. We need somone proficient in ordering parts and maintaining inventory, and we need excellent people skills when dealing with customers and internal staff.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify parts necessary to complete repairs in the shop
- Work with vendors to locate and order parts
- Receive parts and inspect for quality and accuracy
- Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule
- Maintain accurate accounting record for purchased and/or returned parts
- Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency
- Create estimates for RO’s based on parts and hours needed
- Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meeting
- Handling warranty part returns and processing receipts and invoices in All Data system
Requirements:
- 1-2+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus)
- Solid problem-solving abilities
- Above average computer proficiency
- Above average organizational skills
- Ability to keep up and succeed in a fast-paced working environment
- Strong negotiation skills to be able to shop and negotiate best prices
- Ability to work well with others and achieve common goals
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Compensation
$19.00 Hourly (Depending on Experience)
