JOB SUMMARY:
The Imaging and Diagnostic staff functions and provides care for the patient under the Imaging Manager and Radiologist direction. This is a Full-time position located in Stockbridge, GA.
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS:
- Set up the equipment to provide imaging service and positions patient for the procedure.
- Enter data into patient electronic medical records.
- Schedule patients for tests and procedures as needed.
- Manage phone calls and fax correspondence as needed.
- Inventory and stock medical supplies and materials.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Successful completion of a formal program of study accredited by the Joint Review Committee and American Registry of Radiologic Technology in CT (R,CT) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as Radiologic technologist preferred.
- 2 years of current experience as a CT Tech and can perform all diagnostic CT exams according to the established policy and procedure.
- Current BLS card from the American Heart Association, prior to permanent hire date.
- Able to complete preliminary imaging report for the Radiologist, experience with PACS preferred.
- Experience with GE equipment - 16 slice.
