A notable Los Angeles restaurant group known for its widely ranging full service and quick service concepts created to feature high quality ingredients, seasonal fare, and exceptional service. The restaurant group is preparing to open their upscale steakhouse concept at a popular shopping destination in mid city LA.
This restaurant menu is dedicated to chef driven product and technique, curated and hand-crafted drinks. The highly designed yet casual dining room, bar, and patio will be popular with locals and visiting tourists alike. This restaurant will have two concepts: an upscale dining room and quick serve walk up window restaurant as well.
This group seeks an experiencedand enthusiastic General Manager who is passionate about hospitality, knows a lot about wine and beverages, and seeks growth in an expanding company. The right person will be experienced in leading a large team of managers and staff in a high volume full service environment, have a proven track record of successfully opening restaurants, and will be dedicated to our standards, and people.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience as a General Manager in a contemporary, chef driven, full-service restaurant, opening experience a plus
- Experience in high volume restaurant operations ($8-15M)
- Proven track record in developing and leading a successful team to excellence
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of business ops and financials
- Significant wine and spirit knowledge and an understanding of industry trends
- Quick problem solver with a knack for turning tough situations into positive outcomes
- A flexible schedule. Mornings, nights, weekends and holidays are required
BENEFITS:
- Opportunity to lead a multi-concept restaurant (an upscale dining room and quick serve walk up window)
- Base salary $110,000 to $125,000 plus benefits, bonus potential and perks
