Job Summary:
The Automotive Parts Counter at Deland Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and assisting them with finding and purchasing the correct automotive parts for their vehicles. This job requires knowledge of the automotive industry and excellent communication and sales skills. The individual in this position will work on a full-time basis, with a base salary and commission structure, and will be based in our DeLand, Florida location.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary and commission structure based on individual sales performance. Employees are also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers at the parts counter, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Use computer systems to locate and order automotive parts for customers
- Provide accurate pricing and availability information to customers
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and ordering new parts as needed
- Promote and upsell related products and services to increase sales and meet individual goals
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a resolution in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized parts counter area
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety standards
- Continuously update knowledge of automotive parts and industry trends to provide top-notch service to customers

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in parts sales or customer service
- Excellent communication and sales skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize effectively
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions
- Proficient in basic computer skills and comfortable using computer systems
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
