Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged. We are looking for a clerical position who works with information transfer, insurance authorization, and other tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking and maintaining documentation of referrals.
  • Contact insurance companies and review organizations to ensure proper prior authorization requirements are met.
  • Assist patients in problem solving related to health care system, financial, or social barrier issues.
  • Establish referrals are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Handle requests from third party sources and provide relevant information and data.
  • Communicates patient updates between program and referring source.
  • Confirm insurance coverage.
  • Remain current on updated referral policies and procedures.
  • Notify patient and providers of services request that are not authorized by insurance.
  • Schedule patients Via telephone


Qualifications

  • High School diploma required or professional licensure or certification
  • 2+ year working with referrals preferred
  • 1+ year working with obtaining referrals for Primary Care Clinics
  • Strong customer service skills
  • HIPPA
  • Resourceful
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Teamwork orientation

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $16.50 - $18.00/hour.
