Since 1971, Ilderton Conversion Company has helped people all across the country regain their mobility and independence. We specialize in offering our customers the best personal and commercial wheelchair accessible vans on the market. Our company is a proud industry leader in commercial wheelchair accessible transportation and accessible taxis. We also custom build transporters, shuttles, and work crew vans designed specifically for our customer needs and budget.
Overview:
This role primarily ensures the cleanliness of all vehicles to be ready to present to customers. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring the dealership lot, showroom and common areas are maintained. Due to the small number of staff, you may be asked to help with other tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Open and operating by 8am Monday - Friday (unless documented exception) clocking out by 5pm.
- Stock snacks, waters, sodas and coffee station.
- Water all outside shop plants Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Water all inside shop plants every Friday.
- Showroom cars are to be clean every Monday and Wednesday
- Clean all the front lot cars weekly.
- The showroom is to be cleaned every Friday.
- Bathrooms to be cleaned every Wednesday and Friday.
- Remove trash from showroom/ desks/ kitchen area and your station daily.
- Wipe down all customer sitting areas daily.
- Rental vehicles to be cleaned asap daily.
Qualifications:
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
- Frequent driving for extended periods of time.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
