Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Lead Analyst HCM Workday Security to join our team and take responsibility for the successful implementation and management of our Workday System. You will play a vital role in supporting our organization's security management by leveraging your expertise in Workday HCM Security and related technologies. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient operation, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Workday HCM Security to meet the needs of our employees and the business as a whole. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the HCM Security roles and groups processes within our organization's Workday system. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including HR, Compensation, talent acquisition teams, and learning and development teams, to ensure the effective implementation and utilization of the Workday platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Workday System Security Administration: Manage overall Security architecture and governance of Workday platform (HCM, Core Compensation, Adv. Compensation, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, etc.)
  • This is a highly visible individual technical role responsible for the outcomes and success of Workday HCM Security that play a key role in delivering the stated goals of the organization.
  • Work closely with HR Operations Team, Compensation team, Workday Implementation Consultants, and subject matter experts so Workday modules are configured to meet present needs and future potential.
  • Workday Security Management: Develop and manage comprehensive security strategy, design, configuration, enhancements, proxy security, and ongoing support.
  • Develop security configurations for new objects, field level security, tenant migration & security, and masking across non-production tenants. Configure and monitor security settings of Workday APIs to safeguard data during exchange with external systems.
  • Support all Workday functional leads in developing, configuring, and maintaining security policies for domains, business processes, dashboards, and reports.
  • Assist users with security-related issues, troubleshoot access problems, and provide guidance on security best practices.
  • System Enhancements and upgrades: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and propose innovative solutions to optimize the Workday HCM Security, drive end-to-end automation initiatives, and improve user experience. oversee the deployment of system upgrades to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to users.
  • Audit and Compliance: Partner on audit and Compliance reviews, data privacy regulations and their implications on HR systems and data security.
  • Perform Workday tenant management, Sandbox environments, etc. by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Continuously monitor and assess security controls, identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and improvements to security design.
  • Workday Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports using Workday reporting tools to provide insights on Security metrics, trends, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business leaders, to gather requirements, understand business needs, and provide guidance on system capabilities and best practices.
  • System Documentation and Documentation: Maintain accurate system documentation, including process workflows, system configurations, and standard operating procedures, to ensure knowledge sharing and facilitate system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Stay Updated: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, best practices, and updates in Workday and related technologies to bring new ideas and innovation to the organization's business processes.
  • Ability to successfully build strong relationships with key stakeholders and groups across all levels of the organization; ability to win over resistors and engage executives, managers, and others.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Lead or Manager in implementing and managing Workday platform Security (HCM, Core Compensation, Adv. Compensation, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience and Strong technical knowledge of Workday's HCM Security, including design, configuration, enhancements, proxy security, and ongoing support.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • The detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and drive system implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Certifications in Workday Security or related areas would be a plus.
