Warehouse Management Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
System Development and Integration:
Design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions to elevate warehouse operations.
Integrate warehouse management systems (WMS) with other enterprise systems for seamless and efficient processes.
WMS Expertise:
Leverage extensive knowledge of WMS platforms such as DCX, Manhattan, Korber, Blue Yonder, or HighJump to customize and optimize warehouse functions.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct in-depth analysis of warehouse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Generate insightful reports and provide data-driven recommendations to the management team.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Offer technical support for WMS users, promptly addressing and resolving issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
Project Management:
Lead and manage WMS projects, ensuring timely delivery within established budgets.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to execute projects successfully.
Continuous Improvement:
Continuously assess and enhance warehouse processes and system capabilities to boost overall efficiency and productivity.
Training and Documentation:
Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct informative sessions for warehouse staff on WMS usage.
Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management software engineering.
Proficiency in WMS platforms such as DCX, Manhattan, Korber, Blue Yonder, or HighJump.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain management.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
