Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized parts area and helping field service personnel upon request. This position will be responsible for managing the inventory and distribution of parts and supplies in the service environment. This role ensures that the parts room operates efficiently, accurately, and in a well-organized manner to support maintenance activities.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized parts area Helping field service personnel upon request. Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Will maintain accurate inventory cards of parts and supplies and conduct regular counts to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Assist in ordering of parts to ensure stock levels
  • Issue parts to service and maintenance as requested and track the movement of parts in and out of the parts room

Education/Skills:

  • At least two (2) years verifiable experience in parts room/tool cribs/ or other comparable experience
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be a team player and have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing are required.
  • Often need to lift heavy parts and equipment, so physical strength and endurance are important.
  • Working with heavy equipment and machinery poses so follow safety protocols and use protective gear.
  • Working with tools and machinery requires good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
  • To adequately perform the duties of this job, the employee is regularly and routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, use hands, hear, and talk. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must be able to climb ladders, work in hot and cold environments, and work in small crawl spaces.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

  • Position requires some flexibility in scheduled working hours.
