Title: IT Procurement Specialist - Montvale, NJ, Hybrid Opportunity

W2 only

Join our client's team as an IT Procurement Specialist, based locally in Montvale, NJ. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring onsite presence at least 3 days a week. If you are interested, please send your profiles to me.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with indirect buyers to capture stakeholder needs and liaise with key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Review contracts, terms, and service level agreements, and track procurement data.
  • Scan all current and new contracts in Ironclad to assist the IT Indirect Procurement Manager.
  • Assist with the procurement process, including contract management, negotiation, and purchase order preparation.
  • Obtain price quotes, generate purchase orders, and manage purchasing needs for stock items.
  • Source new suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to achieve cost savings.
  • Maintain vendor database, update prices, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review product specifications and maintain knowledge of goods or services to be purchased.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in Manufacturing and coatings.
  • Prior experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role.
  • Familiarity with Ironclad contract management tool is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while collaborating effectively with others.
