The Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for planning, configuration, implementation of MIB Cloud services with a focus on the Microsoft Azure Cloud

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or equivalent experience
  • 3+ Years Azure Cloud Engineering experience
  • Azure cloud certification required
  • Fluency with AWS Cloud Experience a plus
Primary Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain secure cloud computing environments for the company primarily in Microsoft Azure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Security, Development and Architecture to ensure security best practices are implemented across the Azure infrastructure.
  • Setting up monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments to detect security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement access management and security controls in cloud environments to ensure compliance with security standards
  • Administer, secure and maintain virtual Windows/Linux machines as needed as well as native Azure technologies
Minimum Qualifications - Technical:
  • Advanced system troubleshooting skills
  • Administration of M365, Azure AD (Entra), Active Directory
  • Understand the concepts of infrastructure as code design
  • Experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline, Agile Framework
  • Possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Minimum Qualifications - Organizational:
  • Ability to work in a manner that supports the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Strong customer-service orientation, organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in multi-tasking; Able to prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Recommend technical strategies and solutions to IT Managed Services group to maintain and/or expand service levels.
  • Assists in department budget preparation of cloud usage
  • Coach and develop team members to excel and grow
